Our mission
Our mission is to connect everyone who works with product development and strategic purchasing in the engineering industry with suppliers to make product development smarter, more effective and more futuristic. On site, you will meet more than 100 exhibitors and take part in different seminar programs which will focus on the latest trends and technologies in manufacturing and engineering industry.
In our events, we make sure our customers easily exhibit their products, participate in different activities and workshop and meet potential customers and increase their business.
Advanced Engineering runs in parallel with, renowned and popular trade fair Elektronikmässan, Swedens most important event for the Electronics business, – a proven success concept that contributes to important synergy effects!

The word “advanced” symbolizes the complexity of the task that product developers and strategic buyers face today. To simplify the difficult task of finding your way in the midst of components, materials, and technology, we have gathered exhibitors from the entire product development chain to make your product idea a reality.
Global expertise - Local network
Advanced Engineering originates from Birmingham, United Kingdom, where the fair premiered as early as 2008. The concept has now been established throughout Europe and has become a must-attend event in the engineering and manufacturing industries.
Advanced Engineering has been appreciated by everyone and is a well-recognized trade fair in Gothenburg. And now in 2022, it is coming to Kistamässan, to welcome the engineering industry in Stockholm region. Our global connection ensures that we are on the right track and gives us the opportunity to win international influences – which is an important part of our success story.
Focus areas 2022
Before organizing this fair, we had a thorough insight and involvement from the industry and agreed to opt and dive deep into three main focus areas: Materials, Smart Manufacturing & Human Centricity.

Materials play a vital role in product development. The requirements are high in demand, and today’s manufactured goods must be simple, smart, effective, and sustainable. Material is one of the fair’s apparent and recurring focus areas that has been much appreciated over the years. Therefore, this area will also be important for Advanced Engineering in Stockholm 2022.
The industry is facing a major transition to a more connected, digitized and automated manufacturing. The manufacturing companies should adapt to meet the increasing competition, constant fluctuations in the market and the customer’s high demands. Smart Manufacturing is therefore an appreciated focus area for everyone who wants to digitalize and connect their manufacturing. Here you dive into areas such as AI, connected machines, IoT, digital twin, cyber security, AR, VR, preventive maintenance.
Human Centricity is connected to the new Skills & Talents area and together these two special areas form anchor points on the exhibition floor; to promote the talents and innovators of the future. Implementing a human-centric approach is one of the ambitions in industry 5.0. Acquiring the right competence, developing skills for existing staff is a challenge for many Swedish industrial companies. Therefore, in 2022, we have chosen to raise the Human Centricity focus area for everyone who wants to further develop in their current role or find new skills for their businesses.
